CometCarts is software for boutiques that sell during live videos: it reads comments from the pages a store connects, helps staff take orders, builds invoices, collects payments, and prints shipping labels. These terms are the agreement between CometCarts and the business that opens a store account.
Your account and your store
The store owner answers for the people they invite, for the pages they connect, and for what is sold. Each person keeps their password and device PIN to themselves. You must have the right to connect a page, and your use of it stays subject to Meta's terms.
Fair use
Use CometCarts for genuine sales to your own buyers. Do not use it to send unsolicited messages, to sell goods that are illegal where you or the buyer are, or to interfere with the service or with another store.
Price
CometCarts costs a flat monthly price per store, shown on the homepage, with no fee per sale. The price can change with 30 days' notice. Payments from buyers to the store are between the store and the buyer. When a store takes card payments, Stripe's terms apply to those.
Pages shown to buyers
Invoice links and receipts are shown to buyers on the store's behalf. The store is the seller and answers for the goods, the prices, shipping, and refunds.
Your data
The store's data belongs to the store. The privacy policy says what we keep and for how long. You can ask us to export or delete it.
Availability
We work to keep CometCarts running, especially during lives, but it is provided as is. Facebook, Instagram, Stripe, and the carriers are outside our control, and an outage on their side can pause features here. Our liability is limited to the price paid for the month in which a problem occurred.
Ending
You can close your store account at any time. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms, after a warning where possible.
Changes and law
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it, and store owners are told in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
